I love using these plate covers in my warming oven. I am no longer wasting foil to cover the food, and the food does not get dried out! They fit very nicely over a dinner plate full of food! They rest on the edges of the plate. Perfect!

Great plate covers for those moments when you are cooking for everyone and need to keep the dishes warm as the other ones are cooking. Great for the Sunday breakfast feast. Easy to clean since stainless steel and stack easily in the cupboard.

Q: how tall are they? can it cover a braised short rib?

A: The height of the plate cover is 2 3/8". It may be able to cover your short ribs, depending on their size.
