I am very happy with this set. This tableware set is strong/heavey, shining and attractive. Excellent for everyday use, and elegant enough for specail occasions. I will be serving meals proudly with this set for the rest of my life

These are 18/8 unlike many I have seen that are really 18/0 and don't look good after a couple times through the dish washer. Excellent weight and finish.

I wouldn't call these "extra heavy", but they aren't bad for every day use. My family likes them and said they look expensive, which of course they weren't.
