The picture online and the title, "heavy-handle", led me to believe that I would be getting a much chunkier handle like the ones we already have. The blade is close to our set. Pros: The look is nice, satin as described, and the blade is great for spreading butter, etc. Cons: The handle is not heavy and thicker, which is better for grasping and holding, especially for a man.
