Not the best packaging

We've used these plates for years, so they're clearly dependable, classic dishes. However the packaging has gotten cheaper and cheaper. We ordered 2 dz and 4 came completely smashed. That's almost 17% which isn't a great % for shipping. Since we were ordering extra for Mother's Day service, we were disappointed.
Pros:
good quality, coordinates with other dinnerware, let's the food shine.
Cons:
packaging of shipper, and the cost per plate.

I would recommend this item to a friend.
